This year, the West Des Moines Community Schools will study trends in student enrollment and review the location of school boundaries. The last boundary/enrollment study was completed by the district in 2007.
The boundary committee - made up of parents, staff, administrators and community partners - has been charged with sending a recommendation to the school board for its Dec. 8 meeting. Throughout the process you can stay informed through public forums (dates to be announced), emails, the Informaline, social media and on the district website. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION

Dismissal Info: Weather Related
With Iowa’s ever changing weather conditions, please discuss with your child a contingency plan if activities are cancelled or there is early dismissal – please let your child know if they should get on the bus or wait for a parent.
Parents-Important to Note
If your student is going to be leaving early from school, please send a note with your student and they can come into the office at 7:25 a.m. to get a pass to leave when needed. This helps so we do not have to call into a classroom and disrupt learning time. If your student is coming in LATE, we do not answer phones during that time. Please send a note with them.
